#Rainbow Snippets : Nuts About You

imagesCANPNY1OIf you’ve stumbled across any of the book blast posts for Nuts about You recently, I included a short excerpt of Nathan peeping at Vince in the shower. For today’s Rainbow Snippet, I wanted to post the next 6 lines of the book, which include the infamous were-sponge reference. 😀

Nathan’s mouth fell open and he dropped the sunflower seed. Not that he hadn’t seen Vince naked yet, but he’d never seen this. The man was a grower! Acorns and apple cores! He watched in awe and envy as the sponge circled the man’s hard-on. If only he were a were-sponge instead…

Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Rainbow Snippets here. Don’t forget to throw your name in the hat to win an adorable plush squirrel, too. 🙂

OMG! I’m loving this! “Acorns and apple cores” is just perfect! And I can just see a squirrel as a bath sponge…

There’s some fun squirrel moments coming up in the sequel too. I love writing this little guy.

LOL, that’s so up my street! The moment with the were-sponge is hilarious! I like funny shifter stories more than the serious ones 😀

Me too! I love to write romantic comedy, but it’s so much harder than dramatic stuff. I always find it takes twice as long for half as many words. But it never seems to stop me.

This made me giggle! I love off-beat shifters.

You never quite know who’s looking back at you, right? Keep your curtains closed!

This is certainly a unique idea, wishes he was a were-sponge, huh, well considering where that sponge is at… 🙂

Love this. I loved the excerpt in the blog tour, too. This is definitely on my TBR list. I love something different. Maybe you should consider that were sponge 🙂

    • Kate Lowell - January 10, 2016 Reply

The sequel showcases a bunch of different shifters, but–sadly–not a were sponge. I’ll keep that in mind though…
